Automatic operation The PS-LX310BT is fully automatic. It can start and stop hands-free, and the tonearm will return to its resting place when it reaches the final groove of the record. Just set the "size" switch to 7-inch or 12-inch and the player does the rest for you. Selectable gain switch Albums from different eras and different engineers are recorded at varying levels. To help with that, there's a three-position gain switch on the back of the turntable, so you can compensate when you're using Bluetooth or the phono preamp (it won't work when the switch is set to "Phono"). The Mid setting offers flat gain, Low is -4dB, and High bumps output by +6dB.
