The SD500-PS features rug metal construction, a terminal strip on the back of the pull station allows the interconnection of the pull station to the SLC of an IntelliKnight control panel. The Silent Knight SD500-PS Pull Station is design for indoor use in non-explosive environments. Finally the normally open initiating point contacts are gold-plate to avoid the risk of corrosion. The SD500- PS has been test by UL for compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities ACT. also, a plunger switch, wire to a self-contain addressable module, is release as the pull station opens to initiate the alarm. Once operating, the cover hangs down and can be see up to 100 feet away. The reset keys are the same keys use on Silent Knight enclosures. The SD500-PS single-action pull stations are operate by a pull on the front pull cover of the station. The label contains the words Fire Alarm and is made of a reflective material prominent text 3/8 inches tall. Extremely easy to operate, the SD500-PS provides a fast and practical means of manually initiating a fire alarm signal.
