Description: This vintage 5-piece Russian nesting doll set was created by the Russian company, R. Ceprueb Nocag. Each doll is made of wood, with the design burned in and then hand painted with rich colors and added gold accents to top it off. Dolls like this were imported to be sold in fine department stores. The main doll is 3 1/2" tall and 2 inches wide. The rest of the dolls decrease in size accordingly to fit. With the exception of a stray blue paint mark on the back of the main doll (probably by the artist), this set is in excellent condition.
