Description: From Shirley of Hollywood: a purple camisole with a ruched and laced up front and with ruched straps. The purple is a true purple but that is a colour which is very hard to capture but the real colour is warmer than it looks in my images. Of course the colour in velvet does change with the light and against different backgrounds. This whole camisole top feels lovely and soft. There is a main front panel with horizontally ruched bands of the velvet, finishes with ruffles at the outer edges. In the centre the inner edges are finished with a lilac looped trim which secures the turned-in edges of the velvet and the gold loops through which the purple velvet round strands are laced, these may be tightened or loosened over different areas so that it is flattering on the wearer. The front ruffled velvet is sewn over two plain purple velvet side panels which go to seams at the sides of the body, towards the back. The top of the ruffled velvet is turned inside and only secured at each side so the top edge is soft. The back of this velvet camisole top has one main panel to the side seams, the back is cut smaller than the front and is slightly scooped downwards at the top and straight across at the bottom. The bottom of the front and back has the velvet oversewn with purple stitching so it is not turned up which would make the bottom thick. The top of the back and around to where the straps start at the top of the velvet turned inside and secured with a double row of purple stitching. The straps are in purple elastic on the inside but over the outside there is a band of the purple velvet gathered and this is sewn onto the elastic with purple zig-zag stitching, the inside edge is level with the purple elastic but the outer edge is wider from the stitching so that it fans outwards. These straps are not adjustable but you could always take a tuck inside the top of the back should you need to shorten them and stitch it in place. Everyone has a different measurement from the bust to the shoulder so this is the normal way to get the fit perfect for you. The fabric is 90%Polyester 10%Spandex. Shirley of Hollywood recommends that these should be hand washed in cold water and line dry. Use no bleach. Do not dry clean or tumble dry. New and unused.
