Description: Updated 03.31.2020I will now include four (4) stainless steel shims to use in the handle knobs to reduce play/slop in the fit. This is a listing for four (four) new stainless steel bearings to replace the white plastic bushings in the Shimano Curado 70/71/200K/201K/DC150/151 handle knobs AND (1) one to replace the white plastic bushing on the Shimano Curado 70/71/200K/201K/DC150/151 worm gear. You will receive a total of five (5) bearings as seen in the first picture. All the bearings are the same size. You will remove the 4 white plastic bushings and replace them with bearings in the first picture and remove the 1 white bushing on the worm gear and replace it with the metal bearing. Due to the tolerance differences on knobs, you might notice more or less play in the knob after the bearing upgrade. There is a shim (NOT on the Curado DC reels) on one of the bushings and you can play with these, ie, put two on one side, none, etc. Also due to the tolerance differences on the worm gear, you might have to sand it down just a little to get the bearing to slide on. The worm gear is plastic, so start off with something fine like 200 or 500, then finish up with 1000 or higher to polish it smooth.
