Schiit Asgard 3 BUNDLE

Description: Up for your consideration is a turnkey headphone system: Schiit Asgard 3 with the optional built-in ESS9028 USB C DAC module and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro over-ear headphones. Nothing else is needed to start listening... just plug a USB C cable into your computer, laptop or phone and start listening. No fuss. The Asgard 3 is the black model which I believe is discontinued now. The DAC and preamp/amp sound excellent. Since the Asgard 3 has its own internal power supply it doesn't have any hum or line noise like some models with the switched-mode wall adapters. Original box, packing material, manual and power cable are included. The Asgard 3 was over $400 when I bought it. The Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones sound excellent with the Asgard 3. The original zipper case, both sets of pads and both cables are included. I never opened the straight 3-pin to 1/4" cable. The DT 1990 Pros were about $450. Condition is as pictured. There's VERY little play time on this setup, a total of four or five listening sessions. I just don't use it as much as I thought I would as most of my listening happens on speaker systems. I doubt I even broke in the headphone diaphragms all the way. The setup sounds great and is an excellent system, far from "entry level". Since this is a turnkey rig, you don't need anything else and can get right to listening. Nothing else is included beyond what was already mentioned. I'm sure you have a USB C cable to use with it, but if you don't just let me know and I'll see if I can throw one in. It's still a used system, albeit very gently, so it's priced accordingly.
