Description: This scarce token (pendant, drop, fob) is a souvenir of the visit by U .S. President Grover Cleveland to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago on May 1, 1893, to officially open this world's fair. The obverse has a high-relief (three-dimensional) bust of Cleveland, with his last name, and the reverse has the words 1893 WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO CHAIN PATD APR. 4. 93. According to references, the composition is silver, but this has not been confirmed and is not guaranteed. The diameter is approximately 18 mm (nearly 3/4").
