It may work for a .40 I’m not sure , check manufacturer. This holster is ONLY for a weapon with an attachment such as a TLR-1 light etc , see pictures of label. It has a few scratches on the SLS hood and was barely used. Nothing missing from package. Note that this is right handed and is a LOW RIDE position level 3 holster
