Description: Here we have a gearbox, which I believe is for a rotary/batwing mower of some kind. Maybe Woods or Land Pride, based on the color? The box itself looks brand new to me. The base has some dings and rust, possibly from being stored outdoors or something. The top panel bolt pattern appears to be 6-5/8 inches square. The base bolt pattern is 8 inches apart on centers, measured from the center of one bolt hole, to the center of the one on the opposite side. This was surplused by the state, who runs a fleet of batwing mowers, and keeps a lot of spare parts.
