Description: This artifact is a piece of history off the RMS Olympic from the White Star Line. It is a Carpet fragment from the first class lounge of Olympic and a rare collectible for any transportation, Titanic or boats & ships enthusiast. A few of the first class passengers on the ill fated R.M.S Titanic had travelled on Olympic a good while before the titanic was launched it was the biggest ship before titanic came along after all! This piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nick Sullivan a Titanic historian and private collector of authentic white star line related memorabilia. The carpet fragment has been mounted on a homemade acid free photo display and will need to be framed and matted as the cutting of the photo at the bottom was not ideally straight that however does not affect the overall presentation of the piece or the artifact itself. This carpet pattern and manufacturer were also used on Olympics sister ship the R.M.S Titanic. This item is perfect for collectors or as a unique decorative piece for any home or office. It is a great conversation starter and a must-have for any White Star & Titanic fan. Add this original piece to your collection today!
