Description: Maker: This distinctive gold & white gravy boat with its attached under plate is by Richard Ginori, Italy's pre-eminent porcelain maker. World renowned for its high quality and design expertise since 1735, Ginori is still producing wonderful porcelain at its factory near Florence, Italy. Age: On the base is a green Ginori mark that dates the gravy boat's production to the first half of the 20th century. Design: The pattern features stylized gold flowers and leaves against a pure white background trimmed in gold. An unclear pattern number is on the base. It might be 10514 but that is not confirmed. Condition: There are no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, crazing or repairs. There is light wear to the gold edges and many dark embedded spots that were created in the manufacturing process - they can be seen in several of the photos. Size: The under plate is about 9 inches long and about 6 inches wide. The gravy boat is 7 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. The dish is 2 7/8 inches tall at the ends and weighs 1 pound 6 ounces. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
