Description: Eye-catching Antique Bridge Lamp Gorgeous! This amazing antique lamp has been freshly rewired and is ready for a new life with you. The shade is a custom one-of-a-kind handmade piece. The lamp has 6 stunning swirled slag glass pieces, all without chips or cracks! The brass has been polished, the paint refreshed and antiqued, and the Edison socket has been cleaned, polished, rewired and tested. The lamp is working great and looking amazing. It has a heavy cast iron base to keep it sturdy. The glass pieces do not glow under a UV light, in case you wondered. ;) The sage green / gray shade with beige fringe makes a beautiful glow and the angle of the shade is adjustable by a couple inches if you like. The lamp uses one standard base light bulb up to 60 watts. We suggest using an LED bulb since they use low wattage for bright light and therefore don't produce much heat - this will protect the fabric and fringe on the shade for years to come.You can see in the photos that we used a warm toned light bulb for some of the photos and also a cool toned bulb for some of the photos, which changes the color of the shade a bit when lit. You can choose what you like when you pick what bulb you will use. :) There are no maker's markings on the underside of the lamp. This could be a Houze lamp, however we cannot say for sure. The socket is marked with an E inside an arrow, which is Edison. The ball at the end of the pull chain has a patent date of 1911.
