When you use the performance feature of the legs (spreading the legs way out) it can get as low as approx.15" from the ground. the silver finish on the legs does show minor wea It comes with very unusual head that is ideal for macro work. It it allows you to get as close as approx 3" or closer to the ground and still have your camera in a upright position. The Manfrotto/Bogen 3025 3-D head with a 1/4-20 camera mounting screw It has side to side pan (360 degree rotation on the Pan) and it has forward and back tilt horizontal to vertical Tilt The legs telescope in and out and the silver finish on the legs shows very minor wear. The tripod and head is in very nice condition. Light weight but sturdy and Ideal for travel and hiking.
