Our vet that happens to be a parrot geneticists took a look at Wrigley, he said he had not seen this in any other red fronted macaws that he or his colleagues ever seen, so far Wrigley is the only documented red fronted macaw parrot with this genetic abnormality! These naturally molted feathers are such a special rare unique luxury gift from him to you. This is 1 yellow feather from a red fronted macaw that doesn’t normally have yellow flight feathers. Some of Wrigleys feathers are a BRIGHT radiant yellow and other feathers grow in like most other red fronted macaws!
