Volume One has a frontispiece illustrated title page and 18 other plates, while Volume Two lacks the frontispiece and illustrated title pages, but has 11 further plates, as called for. All the plates are hand-coloured. Good condition, front hinges cracked and repaired, some repair to the frontis and illustrated title page in Vol. I. Some offesetting fron the plates, occasional scattered foxing throughout, short closed tears to 2 plates, one plate has a longer repaired closed tear (shown in photos). Vol. II lacks all before the first text page, and has damage to the last two leaves with some loss of text to the footnote on page 667.
