Description: These three antique collectible volumes of the rasp are pieces of American history, horsemanship history, army history. Incredible detail from the daily lives and activities of the mounted service, amazing pictures of people and horses, details about horse care and horse breeds, polo information, horse, care, information, and incredible 110 year old advertisements in the back. The advertisements alone are amazing, gun maker advertisements, beer advertisements, etc. The 1912 book has some staining to the front cover and some wear on the edge. The pages are all attached to the binding and the binding is tight. There is some yellowing of the pages and the first 34 pages have some staining to the top corner. The staining does not reach or impact the pictures or writing. The 1913 brown book. The cover is in good condition for its age. There is a inscription from 1913 inside the front cover. The pages are more glossy and clean in this book. Pages are tight to the binding and are generally in very good condition. The 1914 cover shows some wear. There is an inscription inside the front cover from 1914. There is some staining from the red cover on the first four pages of the book. None of the staining impacts the readability. The top cover is pulling away slightly from the binding, but is still attached, and all the pages are still attached. The first few pages feel a little loose, but they are still attached to the binding, there are some pull out tables, illustrating the timeline of different horse breeds. Those are all attached and in good condition. There is some age related yellowing of the pages. All of the pages are usable and readable. The back cover also has pulled away slightly from the binding, but it’s still attached. Please look closely at all pictures. Ask for more pictures if you have any questions about condition. These are a piece of history and are filled with detail from over 100 years ago. Anything related to horses and cavalry life in the US Army. It’s incredible.
