Description: This listing is for a rarely listed design in this Schiaparelli rectangular powder compact with a hunter green leather insert cover. The leather is embossed with gold fleur de lis and a gold scalloped edge. There are a few indentions in the leather cover. There are no visible scratches. The compact’s edge and underside are gold tone metal. The sides bear surface scratches. The compact is opened with a button. The inside of the lid has a mirror which is tarnished on the edges. See photo. The loose powder section of the compact is covered with the powder puff and pad that is branded “Schiaparelli” on the satin ribbon. There is plenty of loose powder under this pad. The backside of the compact has a lined pattern in the metal and is marked, “Made in USA.” The compact measures 2 1/2” tall by 2 ¾” wide by 3/8” deep.
