Description: I have for sale a vintage piece of Hopi Tribe Native American art. Michael Kabotie (Lomawywesa) Tribe: Hopi (Southwestern) Artist Proof (8/8) Title: Homage to Poets of Clay Signed in Pencil Date: 1985 Overall, the print is in excellent condition and has an embossed raised style to the art. Michael, is the son to the famous Hopi artist, Fred Kabotie. There are a couple faint dirty spots to the outside matting, by the metal frame, from just brushing up against other items over the decades. It is extremely minimal and probably could all be cleaned. The actual art is in excellent condition. I have provided nearly (3) dozen enlarged photos below to give you a thorough view.
