Description: For your consideration is this very rare, early WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Ferrying Command pin-back uniform insignia. This pre-dates the Air Transport Command Insignia. These were used by the Army Ferry Command from late 1941 through early 1942, and it's unknown how many were ever produced - but the number has to be incredibly low - similar to the A.C.F.C. Ferrying Command Wing. These would have been used on the uniforms of the very few pilots that used the ACFC wings. The insignia is made of copper, which differs from the common silver ATC insignia used from early 1942 through post war. Both the DI and Patch are in exceptional original condition as shown.
