Description: RARE!! - Arcus Arcanum Tarot by Gunter Hager & Hansrudi Wascher - c. 1987 - OOP! Colorful divination tarot, with illustrations rendered in a style reminiscent of the old "Prince Valiant" comic strips. Despite a bit of a cartoony look, the deck actually boasts some solid symbolic tableaus. Originally issued as a majors-only deck in 1986, the 78-card edition was published in 1988 by AGMüller. The artist Hansrudi Waescher grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland. He was impressed by comic books like 'Tarzan', 'Mandrake' and 'Flash Gordon'. After high school he studied graphic design. Wäscher entered the comic book field in 1953, with 'Sigurd'. After that, he drew, translated and wrote over 1,500 mini-sized comic books, published all over Europe. Condition is unused.
