The unit connects between the audio output of your transceiver. It reduces the noise level whilst allowing the CW through. This is best used with low impedance standard headphones. All jack connections on the board are 3.5mm. This is designed for CW only, not SSB. Also on the board is a micro Morse key suitable for use in low voltage transmitters / Transceivers. Two LED's connected back to back act as noise limiters while a tuned circuit allows the CW through.I have made many more contacts than normal on HF using this device, reducing the noise level also makes reception much more pleasing to the ear.
