This photographic reproduction and enlargement is from a rare old print in the Cabildo duelling collection of the Louisiana State Museum, reproduced by courtsey of Robert Glenk, curator. In that collection, with the printed Code of Honor that was the Bible of men for generations in New Orleans, are ancient duelling swords and pistols, and the archive records of scores of fantastic combats fought in New Orleans on the field of honor.
