More commonly known as the "Steel Pot". This is a Complete M1 Helmet. It is used, see photo's for Condition. This helmet consists of the following components: Rear Seam, Swivel Bale, Steel Pot, with chin straps very nice condition. OD Green Paint no major dents or damage. Later liner, w/OD Green canvas suspension, the liner has a 1984 contract date. The suspension is 1984 contract dated. Excellent Condition with OD Green Paint. OD Green Canvas suspension Excellent Condition, no corrosion on the metal clips. Leather sweat band w/all clips. Nice Condition, leather is soft and pliable. It has a 1988 contract date. Later Neck Strap, nice condition. The markings are no longer legible. Woodland Camouflage Helmet Cover, nice color, no fading. There are no rips or tears. The cover is contract dated 1983. Excellent Condition with an original OD green helmet band with the cat eyes. No markings on the band. Complete post-Vietnam Era M1 Combat Helmets are getting very collectible.
