Pineda Covalin Mexico 2010 Scarf Shawl - Velvet Backed

Description: Hello, this is rectangular silk and velvet scarf by Pineda Covalin. The design is black, grey, and white and is themed around the slogan "Sufragio efectivo, no reelection", which was used in the 1910 Mexican election and has since been used as a phrase demanding respect for the results of elections. The scarf is dated 2010 so perhaps it was released to commemorate 100 years since that election. The scarf is in good condition with one noticeable run and some other minor signs of wear from use. The run goes from one short end up to almost the centre fold of the scarf, and is pretty close to the middle of the scarf. There are a few other minor runs. The care tag was cut off, and a small piece of it is still sewn into the side hem. The front of the scarf is silk, and the back of the scarf is a black velvet material. The scarf is pretty large and rectangular, measuring 21.25" (54 cm) wide by about 71" (180.25 cm) long. Good condition with some wear including one noticeable run, as described.
