The plate is hand painted with the Vellum technique and decorated with the scene of a Lakeside Forest.The white ware mark is hidden under the golden maple leaf Pickard mark (1912-1918)The porcelain is fine and translucent, probably Limoges or Bavaria.The signature of the artist Edward Challinor" is on the front.This piece is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks nor hairlines.
