Unit has been professionally serviced including double cleaning of all controls and connectors, proper lubrication of brakes, resoldering on the logic section of board (Foam dampener on inside of back panel corrodes over time, causing any solder points in contact with it to degrade in quality. Foam dampening pad was removed/ debris cleaned out and those affected solder points were resoldered and strengthened. See internal board closeup photos) Interior mechanics have been greased/ lubed for proper operation. Unit is calibrated for excellent recording and playback. It is calibrated for Maxell Ampex 456 tape.
