Orient Day/Date World Timer Automatic 469EE9-70 CA Men's Watch #4435

Description: I have for sale this vintage 1980s Orient Day/Date with World Timer inboard rotating bezel. The watch has a pusher for day advance with the centre crown operating as date advance in the first position and time adjustment in the full-out position. There is a second crown, at the four o clock position, that operates the world timer bezel. Watch is about 35-36mm case which is a really nice size for anyone with wrists below 8 inches. It's comfortable without being overly dominant or clownishly large. The overall condition of this watch is very good/used. There is a small scratch to the crystal at around the 1 o clock position, but this is invisible in use and only becomes apparent if you hold it to bright light as a shallow angle. The movement is a 21 jewel Orient in-house movement and, having run a watch winder for several weeks, I can say that it is keeping excellent time. The crowns and pusher all work smoothly and accurately. The strap is black, padded leather and, although worn, has plenty of life in it. This is a really nice, early vintage Orient and these guys really know how to make solid and dependable watches. Unfortunately, I have a large watch collection and this piece is just not making it into rotation. I don't want to see it become a watch box queen, so it is time to let it go.
