This is for decoration only, as the lid has been glued shut. The imperfections add character. I like to think of it as perfectly imperfect. It has been embellished with bats on the top and a very unique skull with bats on the front. Everything has been painted, rubbed and buffed in gold and silver, then sealed with an antique wax.
