Description: Here, we have a Hornby R2283 Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 Bulleid Pacific. This locomotive is number 21C155 'Fighter Pilot' in Southern Railway malachite green with yellow stripes. I'm kind of sad to be selling this one, but I simply don't run it much anymore. Rather than it sit amongst the other locomotives in my collection collecting dust, I would prefer someone run this loco as it was meant to. Loco is in good cosmetic and running condition. I did add a little grease and oil, and gave it one final run in before taking pictures. When you buy this, I'd recommend running in. Loco body and tender look really nice. Loco has painted cab detail and sprung metal buffers. I didn't see any nicks or scratches, but check all of my photos in case I missed anything. This loco is DC only; there is no DCC ready socket.
