Description: This auction is for an old stock never worn cloth jacket patch that is titled NRA SAFE HUNTER. This was the first safe hunter patch first version issued by the State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife once the hunter safety course was completed with a passing grade. I was also told that the NRA patch was issued at Boy Scouts of America camps during the early 1960's in the State of Virginia after completing the course and passing the hunter safety test, and the State of Pennsylvania. The patch has yellow background with black lettering and yellow edge border. The patch is shaped round and measures about 3 1/16" diameter.
