Description: This is a 1 3/8" litho button on top of two, felt sunflowers, @ 2.75" across promoting the 1936 republican presidential ticket of Alfred Landon and Frank Knox. Landon was the governor of the great state of Kansas at that time, hence the sunflower motif found on a ton of his election material since that is Kansas' state flower. These two men had the unenviable task of running against popular, democrat president, Franklin Roosevelt for his first re-election, (which happened two MORE times) and Alf and Frank got their clocks cleaned getting only 8 electoral votes while not even carrying his home state! How embarrassing. This is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. There is some slight paint loss above the letter "N" and a flaw by letter "L," priced accordingly. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases which we do by issuing a refund for any overpayment. Shipping on this will be $5.50 well protected with tracking. 8042
