I think this blouse has a very vintage 30s/forties look, it’s lovely quality fabric for a High Street brand and is such a timeless style. It will look absolutely amazing tucked into high waisted wide leg wool trousers or a smart skirt. This blouse is in excellent condition, with no obvious signs of wear. The fabric of this blouse is a light and very luxurious 100% silk satin fabric. Quite difficult to find now! Very soft fabric that shows up the colour beautifully. Will take a gentle hand wash. Love the colour of this blouse, a very rich purple colour for the autumn/winter seasons. It will go with most neutrals and I find this shade of purple looks very nice with khaki greens as well. Design details of this blouse include collared V-neck line. Five mother-of-pearl style buttons to the front placket. Pleating detail to the bust panel. The body of the garment features soft tailoring throughout. Puffed sleeves with pleated cuffs. The back features pleated detail to the upper back panel. Measurements are as follows: armpit to armpit measurement: about 22 inches unstretched. Length of the garment from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem: about 24.5 inches.
