Description: Neoregelia Cruenta Selecta is a large bromeliad that grows in a rosette and can attain a size of 2 feet across under optimal growing conditions although under 18 inches is more common. It usually grows on the ground in full or partial sun. The leaves are thick and leathery, with spiny margins. Some plants have leaves that are yellowish green with red tips, some are yellow and still others are orange depending on the sun exposure,..the more sun the better the colors. Please refer to the pictures as part of the description for any blemishes because they can and will occur, it is just nature taking its course. The plant that is for sale is in the last 2 pictures.
