Description: Modelhaus 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 2 Door Hardtop Resin Kit, Brand New This 1/25 scale Modelhaus resin ‘62 Ford Galaxie 500 Hardtop is absolutely brand new in original factory packaging and box. It came directly from The Modelhaus to me, and the box had never even been opened until I took it out to take the photo. It includes the body with open hood area, hood, chassis, complete interior with seats, dash and steering wheel, front bumper and grille, rear bumper, fender ornaments, taillights, tailgate bezels, radiator, firewall, hubcaps, wheels and wheel backs, glass, axles and Modelhaus T-194 whitewall tires. Appropriate parts are chrome plated. This is made from a Modelhaus master with preliminary work done by Paul Hettick. As with all Modelhaus products, the quality is superb. PLEASE READ: Resin is a little different to work with than plastic and involves some preparation and sometimes needs some “fine tuning," so I would encourage only those who are familiar with resin to bid on this auction. However, I have hundreds of great kits, built kits, resins and diecasts that I'll be selling on eBay. (Sorry, prices are as marked, offers not accepted.) Every kit has been carefully and thoroughly checked and examined, piece by piece, and is guaranteed to be exactly in the condition described, just as it's always been in my business and in my 20 years of selling on eBay. If it says a kit is complete, it IS complete, and any missing parts or imperfections are noted, even if slight. I also carefully wrap the chrome tree in Bounty paper towel and put the glass, tires, and any loose parts in plastic bags, and place a small clump of paper towel on the hood and trunk of convertibles to protect the windshield frames. I don't generally include photos of the parts layout because the kits are checked and packed in their boxes well ahead of time, and also because the more they're handled, the greater the risk that more parts will fall off the trees. Items are sold as is as there should never be a need for a return, but just let me know if ever you have a concern. Obviously factory sealed kits cannot be guaranteed.
