Description: Model Airplane Engine Stand. Normally, the engine is placed within the top (short) arms as seen in the last 2 photos, #10 and #11. For smaller engines, turning the stand upside down frequently works, as seen in photos #8 and #9. I say "frequently" because it just depends upon the engine. In general, the smaller the engine, the less luck I had with inverting the stand. As can be seen in the last 4 photos, the stands accommodate engines as small as a K&B 19 and Cox Special 15 up to a Fox 59 Stunt Longshaft and a Hornet 60. The measurements are: Bottom (long) arms: 3 7/16" long (11.1125cm)1" wide at the narrow U-shaped end (2.54cm)1 1/2" wide at the wide open end (3.81cm) Top (short) arms:1 13/16" long (4.6cm)1 5/16" wide at the open end (3.33cm) 1 3/8" wide where the arms bend 90° (3.49cm) All measurements are taken at the outside edges of the arms. The inner space between the top (short) arms is 1 1/8" (2.86cm) Some of the stands have rubber sleeves on the arms, some do not. If you desire stands with or without the rubber arms, please contact me with your preference before purchasing, to ensure the I can match your preference. Many of the rubber sleeves are brittle and can fall apart at any time. I have had rubber pieces fall off as soon as I put an engine onto the stand. Thus, I cannot guarantee the viability of any rubber sleeves. The engines shown in the photos are not included. They are only to show the variety of engines that the stands can accommodate. Nor are they for sale. I sold them many months ago.
