Description: This handle replaces the failed part that prevents your Mini Cooper glove box door from staying closed. Over time the handle fails due to the stress of the return spring clips. Picture C shows a failed original handle. You are buying only the part shown in pictures A and B. All other pictures are intended to show how the handle fits into the glove box assembly. Installation requires that the glove box door be separated into the inner and outer shells and later glued together with plastic epoxy. There are two spring clips and two bump stops that must be transferred from the failed latch onto the new latch. The handle is printed with ASA filament which is similar to ABS. ASA filament is intended for automotive and outdoor use which means the part will be stable in the high heat summer months. The handle is mostly a copy of the original but has been reinforced in the critical areas near the spring clips.
