Description: Minelab Excalibur 1000 Up for Ebay is a Minelab Excalibur 1000 Metal Detector. It is designed mainly for underwater use, but works well on beaches too. It is excellant for surf detecting and yields many items at about waist or chest depth. It has yielded many rings at beaches all over the country. I have used it at many lakes here in WV, and it's amazing how many gold and silver rings I have collected. I found a NYG Super Bowl ring at Mrytle Beach on June 29th, 2008, although this detector did not find it. I was using a Minelab Sovereign at the time. I did win the Minelab Treasure Contest for that year. I returned it to a player for the Giants and he came and picked it up. I turned down a $10,000 offer for it and returned it to Darren Barnett, No. 41, Defensive Cornerback. This detector works great and has no issues. Condition is nice and it comes with a wall plug charger and instruction manual. Detector uses Nickle Metal Hydride batteries that rest below the detector. It will be shipped by USPS or UPS the day after BIN. Shipping is a flat $40 for all Continental US States. You can be sure you are getting a nice detector, as my feedback speaks for itself.
