Miller Electric Hard Plastic Santa Claus Candy Holder 1940's Vintage

Description: Vintage Miller Electric Hard Plastic Santa Candy Holder Merry Christmas Collectible This offer is for a vintage red hard plastic Miller Electric Santa Claus candy holder. What I like best about him is he doesn't look like a Coca-Cola™ Santa. At one time he held a wreath with a banner that read, "Merry Christmas". If you look closely, you can see slots on hands where the wreath's tabs fit. That wreath was not available at the time I purchased him. If you are feeling crafty, you can either add evergreen picks to his hand or create a new banner for him to hold up. This Santa is a very old collectible (circa late 1940's - post WWII) and has succumbed to various scuffs, scratches, and paint rubs during his long life. There is a melt on one of boots and a part of the former white base still attached to shoe (this was also missing when I acquired him- that's the problem with estate sales - things get lost, misplaced or tossed before the sale). He stands 8¾" tall. No cracks or missing chips on plastic. There is no indication that he ever had a light so guessing the wreath portion held the bulb.
