Sent tracked worldwide I have been a heavy metal fan since 87 and over the years have accumulated a huge collection of various memorabilia. Due to serious illness I had to start selling items as I started to take more and more time off work, being a self employed plasterer with my own business for the last 20 years getting sick pay was not an option. When I left school I went to college to study Art and Design and originally saw my career on this path, but with one thing and another that didn't work out and spent the next 30 years on building sites, but at the beginning of this year I was at a crossroads. Multiple Sclerosis had taken its toll and I could no longer keep working in the construction business, so I decided to go for it and concentrate on making custom figures. I had made the odd Eddie figure which then led to some commissioned work and have not looked back, I am so grateful for the support I have received. So in the most bizarre circumstances, getting seriously ill has put me doing what I absolutely love. It is the only positive thing to come out of having MS but I will take it.
