MCI Transformer’s split bobbin and non-concentric winding provide better insulation and high signal isolation, thus eliminating the need for electrostatic shielding. These transformers are designed to pass VDE’s strict creepage distance requirements. Adaptations of standard transformers are also available. Dots on schematics shown below indicate like polarity.
