HERE ARE A COUPLE OF TECH TIPS • Do not take Door off during installation Please follow the detailed instruction manual step by step • Use 2" painters tape to mark the factory location of your door on the horizontal and vertical plane also measure the distance between the apron and the front edge of the door by the botton and top hinge. • Make sure the mounting surface is flat as possible, if anything is there, grind the surface so the vertical door kit can sit and mount flat. • Make sure both allen screw adjustment on each system are adjusted accordingly. • The kit requires no modification, the kit is a bolt on, but most inner fenders must be rolled or trimmed. Make sure to trim a tittle at a time, you only need to trim enough to allow the swing arm to open and move up and down • If you have any questions during the install PLEASE CALL. Shock Maintenance - IMPORTANT STEP - Do not skip this step! This step is crucial in your installation process, if this step is not completed when installing your vertical door kit; all warranties are voided and may cause future problems with your vehicle. Make sure you put grease on the body of the shoulder bold where arrow is pointing. Make sure you use RED Loctite where the arrow is pointing, on the tread of the shoulder bolt. Make sure you put grease on the bottom side of the shock end. It is recommended that every 3 - 6 months all parts of hinge be sprayed with lubricant to ensure smooth hinge operation. Warning the use of any pliers, paint or foreign materials on shocks body or shaft will Void the Warranty. Use No Pliers
