This print number 1249/5000 features signatures of Arnold Palmer, Miller Barber, Roberto DeVicenzo and U.S.G.A. President Bill Campbell. All of the signatures including the artist Loyal H "Bud" Chapman appear genuine and do not have the computer generated dot matrix signs found on similar prints I'm selling. Each name has been carefully looked at using a high magnification lens. Further supporting these signatures being genuine are that the artist is from Minnesota where this image takes place so he was likely present and it is within the first 300 prints which is within the range of where the featured players often sign prints. Upon close inspection, the signatures also have clear differentiation from signatures of the same print with computer generated names. No. 16 Hazeltine National Golf Club 357 Yards. Par 4: An epic scene. The three past Senior Open Champions, Roberto De Vicenzo, Arnold Palmer and Miller Barber, along with U.S.G.A. President Bill Campbell, planning their attack on hole No. 16 during a practice round preceding the 1983 U.S. Senior Open Championships. A short, but demanding sharp dogleg right, it requires an accurate drive that must carry 200 yards of Lake Hazeltine. A precise second shot must stop dead center on this small highly contoured, peninsular green. Few leads will be safe on this treacherous hole. This print remains in very good to excellent condition and has been protected by a plastic sleeve. The print measures approximately 18"x24". The colors are nice and vibrant making this an excellent gift or collection item for the avid golfer. This was purchased at an estate auction in Northern, MN along with several other fine prints.
