Description: Great collection of three historic souvenir plates. You get a 8.5” square Limoges China Co. (U.S.A. Sebring, OH) plate commemorating Col. Lindbergh’s historic flight in 1927. Nice images of the Colonel, “The Spirit of St. Louis”, the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. You also get a 8.25” beautiful cobalt blue plate commemorating the completion of the Panama Canal in 1915 issued compliments of W.A. Londergan, Worcester, Mass. (imagine a company giving away a premium like this today) and a 7.25” hand painted Japanese New York City souvenir plate with stylized images of the R.C.A. Building, the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty (looking more like a 1920s flapper on her way to a speakeasy than Liberty Enlightening the World). Signed “Hitomi” which is fairly uncommon for a painter of souvenir plates. All the plates are in like new condition with great colors and graphics and will include the appropriate sized hangers. Please scrutinize the pictures to judge condition for yourself and thanks for stopping by.
