Description: LOT 7 Antique Books MINIATURE LITTLE LEATHER LIBRARY Published by the Little Leather Corporation of New York. These small books are known as the Redcroft Edition (bossed on back covers). They are from the early 1920s printing, with green faux leather covers. These first little mini books are highly collectible. Each measure 3 1/4" x 4". They were considered pocket books, small enough to fit into a gentleman's shirt/jacket pocket. Many books were given as gifts to soldiers heading off to war. All of these books show some age. As they are from 1920s. Any imperfections are listed below. Man Without Country by Hale - The first page (no printed material on this page) is not secured but in book. Lays of Ancient Rome by Macaulay - Aged as most of these books are. The front cover is ripped in the right top corner. Speeches and Addresses by Abraham Lincoln No pages ripped or ripped out. Speeches and Letters by George Washington No pages ripped or ripped out. Fifty Best Poems of England - back cover and page slightly torn. Babs Ballard by W.S. Gilbert - Back and Front cover slightly torn around the edges Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde - Inner book has come away from the outer cover (but all intact togther).
