I have hung onto them because they used to fit so nicely but couldn't fit after my son's birth in 2006. It's an unusual cut but flattering. Think 70s meets 2024 version without the extra flare at bottom. It's a heavier denim when levis first came out with this series. 5% elastane 95% cotton. No more shrinkage. They sit at the waist, at 12" from the crotch to the top of the front waist/ button. To me they fit like the new jeans style that has come out with the straight wide leg at bottom,but have a slimmer effect at the thighs. The buttocks region seems to enhance the curvature like an inverted heart shape. They are a nice medium wash with hints of dark scattered naturally. Measurements are: 12" rise Length 33.3" Leg opening at bottom 10" across Across knee/thigh area 8.5" Across butt 21"
