Description: Sturdy 12" x 11" Sanded Manzanita Bird, Parrot or Reptile Perch, with 2" diameter of Base, main branches have diameter of approximately 1.0"- 1.25". Great Perch for Aviary or Large Cage. A variety of perch sizes provides your feathered friend with a natural way to keep their feet flexible and heathy. This perch is sized for larger birds like Large Conures, Quakers, Eclectus & similar sized birds. Would also work well in a reptile habitat or as a snake perch. Wood is fully seasoned and finished cracking, this is a natural process with all large Manzanita Branches and does not affect the strength and integrity of the Branch. The Natural curing process hardens the Branch so that it will last longer than fresh cut for heavy chewers. Pictured item is the one you will receive. All pictures are of the same piece just turned in different directions so you can appreciate the movement in the Branch. Manzanita is the ideal choice for bird / parrot perches. It is an extremely dense, durable wood, chemically neutral and non-toxic. Manzanita provides a stimulating environment with it's varies shapes and textures. Item is completely natural and untreated, harvested from our own rural property off the beaten path. (no worry of chemical overspray here) Wood is well seasoned and harder than fresh cut, will last longer for heavy chewers.
