Description: I wish that I could find where this costume came from. It's like something straight out of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" - a white gown with gold gilded puffed sleeves and an ornate standing literally quilted wired collar, topped with an almost cape-like layer of red velvet that clasps under the bosom. It's really gorgeous, and deserves better than to be worn at a single Halloween party by a relative who didn't really fit it right. Thick, rich material, it was clearly considered a luxury costume. There is a little extra piece that must have been removed from it somewhere, but I can't figure out where it must have gone. It was worn at a party and has a bit of staining. I confess that I was too afraid to try and get them out myself, I don't have a history of great results when it comes to treating light fabrics. I really don't want to mess it up. I do feel like if it will continue to be used in a theatrical, or in a vampire/living dead kind of way, a few stains on it will more than make sense anyway. Maybe add a few more so the existing ones aren't so conspicuous. Please see the last slide for size reference - I believe it is an XL-2X. The model in the last pic is 5'1", a bit short for the dress, you can see the arms are maybe a bit long for her. The dress measures (laying flat) up to 21" in the bust, there is the elastic underbust so no waist, the hip area measures up to 22". The dress is 60" long from shoulder to hem.
