When playing CD's the unit takes up to a minute to recognize so you can play. Please make note I have not tested it with a SACD as I ( do not have any access to one.) Judging by the condition and the way it was kept leads me to believe this should play SACD's. I have adjusted the price to reflect the inability to test a SACD.
