Description: This listing is for a 1/2 Pint Kerr Self Sealing Wide Mouth Mason Jar with a Kerr lid. The jar is made in the United States and is clear in color. It comes in a jar bottle type, making it perfect for storing food or small items. The lid is wide mouthed, allowing for easy access to the contents inside. This jar would be great for collectors interested in modern (1900-now) jars and bottles. There are no chips, cracks or dings on the jar. There are seams on both sides of the jar that can be felt (last two pictures), but they are not cracks. Jar has a high-pitched tone when tapped with a fingernail. The brown on the lid, I think, is paint rather than rust. It does not look like what rust usually looks like, and it matches the brown paint on the top of the lid that says Kerr. And it feels like paint, rather than a scratchy rusty feel. But I cannot be 100% sure.
