Description: WELCOME! For your consideration is a vintage JBL 2118J 8" pro audio speaker for re-cone. It's a perfect candidate. Existing cone feels GREAT with no rib and no magnet shifting but no continuity. There's a puncture wound that broke one lead on the cone going to the voice coil. Great speaker, can't throw it away, and let's be honest here....these speakers are 40 years old. Those that have the original cone like this one most likely need a re-cone anyway.
